In the summer of 1901, Buffalo schoolteacher Mabel Barnes (1877-1946) visited the Pan-American Exposition 19 times and took copious notes. She then spent the years 1905-1914 compiling three scrapbook diaries of her experiences, with tickets, clippings, pictures, and other memorabilia pasted in. Many thanks to W.S. Hein for donating the scanning labor for this project.
